Workshop title
9.30-10.00
&
14.00-14.30
1. Workshop: Operational Risk Intelligence for SMEs – This workshop will introduce and demonstrate a software tool incorporating a risk register, incident reporting tool, task modeler and task risk assessment, and action plans giving SMEs all the tools they need to manage risk, incorporated in one tool. The tool also features KPIs and a dashboard to evaluate risk performance.
Chiara Leva, Fabio Mattei
10.00-10.30
&
14.30-15.00
2. Advanced methods for risk assessment and consequence modelling.
This workshop will introduce and demonstrate a new advanced tools developed in Tosca to perform dynamic event tree analysis of risky scenarios and use CFD simulation in a £d environment to visualise possible accidental consequences.
Marco Pontiggia, Micaela De Michela
10.30-11.00
&
15.00-15.30
3. How Safe is your Coffee Machine: An Interactive Seminar on Participatory
Risk AssessmentThis workshop will walk participants through a methodology and supporting software tool to risk assess tasks in a collaborative way using a simple example of making a cup of coffee
Nora Balfen, Chiara Leva
11.00-11.30
&
15.30-16.00
4. eMentoring Safety Expertise and ISO 31000 at your Fingertip
This workshop will demonstrate how SMEs can increase their skills, learning from experts to be safe at the workplace in a collaborative eMentoring mode and integrated with ISO 31000 management requirements. Two live demos will be presented.
Caterina Berbenni-Rehm, Marko Gerbec
11.30-12.00
&
16.00-16.30
5. Optimising Risky Projects
This workshop will discuss a methodology to optimise risky projects using two case studies, one of planning a maintenance procedure on a spherical gas storage container and the second planning an overhaul procedure in a cold water pumping system.
Marko Gerbec, Nora Balfen
12.00-12.30
&
16.30-17.00
6. Visualise your Risk
This workshop will introduce and demonstrate a software tool incorporating risk assessment and visualization of risk in a 3D environment, so that various managers involved with safety share a Common Operational Picture for Safety. In addition this tool can help SMEs for managing safety related equipment, during various phases such as maintenance, inspections and operation.
Emmanuel Plot, Olga Aneziri
12.30-13.00
&
17.00-17.30
7. Virtual Reality for Safety Assessment and Training
This workshop will demonstrate the use of Virtual Reality for the training of safety critical tasks, based on an example of unloading a LPG truck. Two modes will be demonstrated, a guided simulation for early training and a free simulation for more advanced learners.
